Our Thoughts and Prayers are with Our UDHA Past-President

The Immediate Past-President of UDHA is battling for her life.  She sends her tearful gratitude to those of you who have sent money and well wishes to help her, as she continues to try to get back on her feet.   Because of multiple requests to help, UDHA has set up a "Tax-deductible donation account" through any Wells Fargo branch in the name of Lisa House.

  Lisa has no strength to work. As the sole provider for her family she feels overwhelmed by her mounting hospital bills.  She has minimal insurance, and they are not paying for repeat tests.  Fortunately, her job will be there for her, when she is well.    The diagnosis is chronic pancreatitis, complicated with a blood clot in the bile duct of the liver, preventing the digestion of solid foods.  Lisa has been on a feeding tube since May 7th and lost 70 pounds.  Surgeons are hoping Coumadin will dissolve the clot and told her it could take up to 6 months.  They are standing by for emergency surgery in a crisis, but it is risky.      Please continue your positive thoughts for Lisa.
