Upcoming House of Delegates Meeting

We're excited to keep the UDHA House of Delegates Meeting, held virtually! Held via Zoom on Thursday, October 8th at 6:30pm, all members are invited and encouraged to attend. We'll be discussing the latest changes and concerns in Utah that comes with dental hygiene, vote for the 2020-2021 Board of Trustees, and vote on changes to the Association Bylaws. UDHA BOT Nominations Open

We want you to be part of the UDHA Board of Trustees! Nominate yourself, a friend, or a colleague to be part of the 2020-2021 Board of Trustees. For next year, open positions are President Elect, Vice President, Secretary, Secretary of the House, ADHA Delegate and ADHA Alternate Delegate. Nominations will be open until October 1st, and will be voted on during the UDHA House of Delegates evening on October 8th. You do not need to be present at this meeting to run for a position, but you will have a few minutes to speak to the position if you are intersted that evening. Student to Professional Membership

Recent Grad Question: We recently had a new grad as about how her student membership changes into a professional member membership, or if they needed to do anything to switch it. Today, we got this email from the ADHA answering this question: "If a student recently graduated, they are in the 6 month “graduate transition” phase of membership. They essentially receive these next 6 months free, until 12/31/20. So they are still definitely members right now and can participate and then they’ll be able to renew as a professional member in the coming months for the 2021 year!"
