What is the American Dental Hygienists' Association?

The American Dental Hygienists' Association (ADHA) is a professional association that represents dental hygienists in the United States. It was founded in 1923 and is headquartered in Chicago, Illinois.

The ADHA's mission is to advance the dental hygiene profession and promote optimal oral health for the public. The association provides its members with access to continuing education, professional development resources, and advocacy for the dental hygiene profession.

The ADHA also works to promote the importance of oral health and the role of dental hygienists in providing preventative care to the public. The association collaborates with other organizations in the dental and healthcare fields to advance the oral health agenda and promote policies that support the profession.

The Utah Dental Hygienists' Association (UDHA) is a division of the ADHA, but supports dental professionals and communities right here in our home state. Being a member of this professional association is rewarding and supports our career.
